Manuscripta Mediaevalia - from Germany

Here's another resource for those of you who enjoy old manuscripts. These 900+ manuscripts come from a number of libraries and sources in Germany.

Note: This website is in German, but when you click on the individual graphics to get to the manuscripts, there is a link at the top right of those pages for a somewhat English version. What is also nice about this site is that you can download PDF copies of these manuscripts to your own computer. The only complaint I have is that when you try to magnify the PDF copy past about 150%, the quality of the graphics gets considerably poorer. But for the most part you can get most of the details okay at that resoultion.

If you want to view the manuscript online, there is a box just below the download box that says either "Sprung zur Seite" in German or "Go to page" in English. Just enter "1r" (without the quotes) or whatever page number you want to start with in the white box next to that and then click on the "Go to page" link.
